Wheat Twins is not fast-fashion. Sustainability is important to Wheat Twins. Around 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry end up in landfills. One in every five items produced by the fashion industry reaches landfills without being worn once. At Wheat Twins, we only produce items for which we get an order. By doing this we can minimize textile waste from overproduction. Added to that, our suppliers utilize high-quality printing technology which creates almost no wastewaters and uses less energy than standard industry printers. We'd like to challenge ourselves to be more ethical and sustainable in our practices. Thank you for making responsible choices!

Each product you see in our catalog including clothing, accessories, and yes, even books, is made on-demand—once you place an order, we produce it specifically for you. This allows us to avoid overproduction and textile waste, and we’re continuously working toward greener production. There are a lot of reasons why a product or material could be considered sustainable. Currently, our eco-friendly product collection consists of items made of at least 70% organic or recycled materials, or a mix of these materials.

All apparel products are packed in post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic mailers. The amount of PCR in the packaging is at least 50% for the outside (white or grey) poly mailer bags and at least 30% for the inside (clear) bags used in multi-item shipments. PCR packaging is made from everyday items, like used plastic bags and bottles. This material protects your order just as well as regular plastic bags, however, choosing PCR over first-use plastics reduces the environmental impact plastic has on our planet.

All orders are first fulfilled (produced) and then shipped out. 97% of our orders are shipped within 5 business days of the order being received. More than 50% of our orders are shipped within 3 business days or fewer. Shipping time needs to be added onto this fulfillment time. For certain international orders, time for customs clearance must also be added to the shipping time. USA orders are usually delivered within a week after the order has been shipped out. A delivery estimate is provided at checkout. 

Size charts are provided for each product. Our hoodies are generally true-to-size but may have drop shoulders depending on the product. If so, it will be specified in the product description. Our tees are also true-to-size. Oversized garments will be specified as such in their product descriptions.
