Image: The five wounds of Christ: hands, feet, and right side which is often depicted as the heart. This particular image is taken from an English Prayer Roll dating to the early 1500s that is currently part of the Morgan Library collection of manuscripts. 

More: The hands and feet are gathered together around the heart of Jesus. The image abbreviates the Image of Jesus into his Sacred Heart and five wounds. Jesus is identified with his love which is embodied in his wounds. His image is conveyed simply. This image is paired with lines from the Nicene Creed. The Creed affirms the beliefs of the Christian who believes in his heart and confesses with his mouth (Rom. 10:9-13). In the heart of the Christian resides the heart of Christ, and in body of the Christian, reside Christ's wounds of love. 

On the hoodie, the heart coincides with the hood. When the wearer puts on the hood, he/she is wrapped inside the Sacred Heart. And in the wearer's own heart resides the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The frame-within-a-frame composition repeats ad infinitum. The heart within the heart becomes the heart. Heart speaks to heart and only by heart, echoing back and forth into each other. 

Notes
Technique (Hoodie): Sublimation dye printing process transfers the image onto the fabric before cutting and sewing into the garment.

This relaxed-fit hoodie with drop shoulders has a soft outside and brushed fleece inside. Though relaxed in fit, this hoodie is true-to-size rather than oversized. Please consult the size chart below and compare it with your favorite hoodie when picking your preferred fit. The hood is double-lined with premium drawstrings.
